BIOGRAPHY
STeW is a French artist born in 1978, who grew up with a passion for board sports and graffiti. He quickly began to appropriate the street as a playground and expression, leaving his first marks on rollerblades and skateboards.
Over time, STeW has specialized in the world of graffiti, adding his personal touch. He defines himself as an “infograffeur”, which means that he integrates digital elements in his creations, thanks to his training as a graphic designer. The computer has become an indispensable tool in his creative process, allowing him to give life to colorful and original worlds.
The stencil has also become a key element in STeW’s art, allowing him to bridge the gap between his digital work and the street. His creations are often mixtures of stencils and graffiti, creating bold and modern compositions.
STeW is also inspired by the Japanese universe, especially prints. He draws from this refined and poetic aesthetic to create original works, mixing cultures and influences.
Today, STeW is considered one of the most talented artists of his generation, with a unique and recognizable style. His creations are present in many festivals and exhibitions, in France and abroad.
