SOS

BIOGRAPHY

SOS is a Florentine artist born in 1970 who now lives and works in Rome. Her paintings are produced both in the street and in the studio. She studied and worked in several Italian cities, from Florence to Urbino, from Milan to Naples, before deciding to settle in the capital. Today, her work is exhibited in several European and American galleries, as well as in numerous private collections around the world.

As far as street art is concerned, as well as walls painted spontaneously in various cities, there are numerous private and public commissions, including a project carried out in Fiano Romano (Rome) for e-Distribution on one of the national grid’s electricity boxes.

SOS also brings her art to the street in other media such as posters, stickers and ad hoc installations. She recently started work on a new project, based in Sicily, which involves displaying plaster tiles in the shape of jigsaw puzzle pieces. After Palermo, Cefalù, Marzamemi, Noto and Syracuse, her work is now spreading to the regions of central Italy.

His work can be found in collections throughout Europe, Japan and the United States.
Some of his works were selected for inclusion in philanthropist Dominique Barlaud’s exclusive travelling collection Money for nothing 1001.
SOS’s paintings and installations can currently be seen in galleries in Paris and Miami.
