“Nina Van Kidow” is a French street artist who plays with pop culture references and figures of free women in urban space.

Through her work, she questions the role of the media in the representation of femininity.

Her minimalist black-and-white works, drawn and painted entirely by hand, highlight the female body and its language.

From glamour magazines to comic books, video games and spy novels, female bodies are everywhere on display. It is these bodies, this femininity in all its majesty, that the artist interprets with her own eye and style.
