BIOGRAPHY

 

She began drawing at the age of 45, finding in this means of expression a vital cathartic dimension.

Her favourite themes revolve around women, bonding, motherhood, inner demons, the vicissitudes of life and its joys.

Her artistic work is in the realm of automatism. She doesn’t know in advance where her work-in-progress is going to take her; she lets her unconscious guide her.

She uses several techniques: ink, fine felt pens and sometimes gouache.

Her works have an almost palpable intensity.
