BIOGRAPHY
MS BEJA is a multi-disciplinary artist from the world of communications – graphic designer, illustrator, copywriter and conceptual artist – who plays with techniques to create highly personal, offbeat works.
Naturalist walls, object paintings, revisited sketches or chatty stencils, his multi-technique creations shed light on our times with winks and discreet references.
From the sardine that wanted to be a shark to the Crowrona – the masked raven that has become his symbol – his surrealist eye inscribes on the walls messages that draw us into a poetic universe that is less wise than it seems, and in which words and images play a double game. His work invites us to reflect on our times, all the more forcefully because it is coloured with humour to hit the nail on the head.
